After two bottles of Flourish in my 75 gal, I have very little. I’m still trying to get rid of Dino’s
And I have a yellow tank and a small CUC...now mostly down to hermits.

Any other ideas to grow some?

Increase your phosphate level to 0.20 + that should do the trick ?

But then you’ll probably have all sorts of issues. I would look at other ways to solve the problem to be honest.

For a simple solution try a 3 day blackout and increased flow to the affected areas. It may work depending on the strain if it is dino’s. Thats better than encouraging a GHA outbreak to try at least.

Since gha can grow independently from measured nutrients, in all settings, the universal causative would easily be some high pressure sodium growth lights from home depot/hot ones. aim it close up on your rocks in any reef, with any arrangement designed to prevent GHA, and intense low K lighting will make a forest.

in any reef here, I can hook up my 5K metal halides and blanket the whole reef in gha by 2020

this should truly make one wonder what causes gha

Thanks. Oh, I’ve done it all. Heck, I’m at 2.0 phosphates right now.

Don't dose bacteria or carbon sources of any kind, let nitrates drop to zero and raise phosphates (dose RS Reef Energy). You'll get some funky stuff soon enough.

Wait... you want to get RID of dinos. Ok. Get nitrate up to at least 10 to 20ppm and phosphates down to about .05 to .07. Dose carbon source as needed to get things in line where you want them. Flow helps but they'll grow dam near anywhere. Nitrate deficiency is what gets mine going.
