Hi,

Im looking into getting a pair of fish, and looking at how I can prevent ich (how I lost my first pair) or really any other disease from harming them. everyone says stress and diet play a key role in prevention- but what do I need to lookout for to make them less stressed- any parameters in particular? ive bought an ATO and a proper light since the last pair so that's all in check. also in terms of diet, apart from live food, do you have any suggestions for a varied diet?

Thanks :)

Need to do quarantine procedures. See Jay Hemdal's thread "Current Quarantine Protocol". Also, dive into Bulk Reef Supply videos on YouTube. I am sure they have one on food,, Best advice is go slow and educate yourself as much as possible.

my aquarium does TTM and treats for worms for fish. just worried new corals may bring in things... and I dont have the additional equipment to support a QT.
