How can i rename my breakout box switches

I am looking to rename my breakout box switches they are currently named switch 1-6
I would like to rename them so i know were they are located but cant seam to find how to do it the switches have no gear symbol next to them

I assume you have the Apex Classic or older model. You need to go into the Classic Dashboard to rename inputs. I discuss this in my Apex System View tutorial:

Thanks for the writeup so now i know why i cant do it because i dont have the gear symbol so im guessing my apex is older .now how do k get into classic apex to chane them .?

You access the Apex Classic dashboard by using your web browser to navigate to one of the following addresses:

http://apex.local

http://YourApexName.local (if you renamed your Apex)
http://{IP address} of your apex; example: http://192.168.0.20

The username and password to log into the Classic dashboard is not the same as your Fusion username & password. The default is:

Username: admin
Password: 1234

You can rename a lot of things from the dashboard, including your probes. One PH probe is labeled "CalRX" and the other is "TankPH".
