How can I to get a right balance between NP

From my ICP test result my Phosphate 0.024, nitrate n.n (undetectable) nitrite 0.036.
I was try to feeding a lot including pellets mysis & polyp Roids. It’s depend work on my nitrate, it only cause my po4 raising. After I try to dosing the FM elementals N. Result is both N03 and Po4 raising. How can I strike the right balance. Thank and welcome comment n advice.

No3 from 0 > 0.9 I’m happy
Po4 from 0.024 > 0.19 I’m worry

Roids is notorious for raising phosphate concentration as you have discovered. The problem with feeding more is that you are also adding more phosphate too.

I don’t know what FM elemental N is. The inexpensive way to raise nitrates is adding food grade sodium nitrate. If you are comfortable dosing ammonium chloride, Randy has posted a dosing scheme that would be a safe approach for this.

Which ICP company? I'm not sure I'd put much confidence in N and P measurements from ICP since bacteria and algae can be acting on samples that do not contain a preservative in the vial.

Have you measured them yourself?

I think Oceamo puts a preservative in the vials, making N and P more reliable.

If rising phosphate is a concern, stop the Roids and use a different food, or if you want to boost N only, stop the Roids and try dosing nitrate or ammonia.

Yes will change my feed schedule, any food is suit for SPS target on colour n PE. Also only raise in N and not affect in P.
