I have always been a LPS person. I thought I would give some SPS a try. They seem to be growing well. What I did not realize was that they encrusted out. The frags I glued down so far have spread farther out than up. I would like to add a few more nice ones now i see they will grow but i am not sure if i have the room.
The last pucture is a top down view. Do I have enough room for a couple more acros?

It depends on how quick you want to frag or remove. Some people love to have them packed in and tight and others like to have room for larger colonies. This is all up to you.

I don't really see my sps showing any damage from each other unless they are physically touching. So as close as you want to let them grow together.

First off, looking good! Your sps are doing great. As for your question you can keep most sps fairly close if you want to. They will encrust right up to each other and normally the faster grower will slowly win out. I do t really worry about this since it wont kill either coral. SPS of simliar species get along together and tolerate contact between one another muxh better than lps do. Put a warcoral nest to micromusa and you will have a dead micromusa.

Thanks, i have already had a few battles with my lps. I have green, pink, and gold hammers. I put a orange torch in thw middle. I was told they would get along because they qere in the same family. The torch got along with the green and gold hammer. The pink hammer still has two heads that are damaged from before I could move it. I am about out of room so any new Coral will be high end. I don't mind having to frag it back some I just dont want to lose them.
