Just asking since i picked up one. Please post your colony or frags. Would like to hear a bit more about them in peoples tanks, How they fair ect.
BTW i'll post pics tomorrow.

Lets see a photo!
They have seen a lot of them being imported lately.

I actually just bought a frag... it'll be here Thursday. I find their look highly appealing, having a whole colony would be awesome!

This were mine;

Nice Amore 169 those look like the real deal. I had a 3 polyp frag of the original Envy Oranges from Reef Envy that were $400 a polyp and most of the ones I see now have little black lines on the paly. The real deal were orange as could be with no black lines on the face. Most I have seen since are just faded RPEs.

Thanks guys:)
coralfan45, Absolutely no comparison to an RPE. They are bright orange, the striations come from variations in lighting.
This is my second round. The first were solid until they hit my tank. They went to buddies tank w/ T5s they turned solid again.

Heres a BAD pic they glow orange. I really liked my VDM's and these are up there if not edging them out in how they glow in the tank.

great pick up Alex... definitely a nice addition to any PE collection... I'm glad that divers finally brought some in for the trade... :)

Any suggestions as to the best placement of them? I can't seem to get mine to open consistently.

Mine seem to like indirect light the best they nice and plump. Just like my orange yuma's they do not like getting blasted with light.

Thanks Marv, I am glad to see them around. The orange envy's i believe are solomon/aussie native's.
