Hi,

It would be so helpful to see how you protect your anemone from being sucked in to the pumps! This is what caused my tank crash 7 years ago and why I left the hobby broken hearted. I want to avoid this <3

Apologies for the senseless post title, I think I left some key words out ;Dead

I have this Hydor:

Some ideas here

You can also look into maybe getting one 3D printed for a specific powerhead that you want to use

Not a senseless point/question at all. People wrap foam, screen mesh or even nylon stockings over powerheads to prevent nems from getting churned up in them. The downside is you have to clean them often - every couple of days because it will affect your flow.

Mine like being dead center in the tank on an island and they've been there for years (16+ and counting) even though a few "offspring" have wandered near powerheads & overflows. The "wanderers" usually get re-homed.

You can use nylon stockings. Cut a sleeve to fit over the power head.
For MP10's MP40's and MP60's they have foam covers that might work for you.

Amazing responses! I have some options available on hand such as the nylon or sponge, i'll get to work. Thank you
