How did I get bristle worms?!? Are there more?

lol - these are amazing additions to cleanup crew. Eat everything's, keep your tank clean, stay hidden for the most part, and are actually really pretty when they get larger...

Not joking - i just paid to have some shipped to me to seed my curing live rock.

However, to me it is like saying, "my house has crumbs in the corner so I bought some cockroaches! They're an awesome CUC".

Not sure I'll ever see it like others do, but I'm going to try and live with the reality of bristle worms. I love this hobby too much to let them stop me!

What size tank do you have? How does it work? If I see too many bristle worms I'm thinking of going down that route!

You are asking the wrong question. The question you should be asking is why do you care.

As an aside - glove up when putting hand in the tank. Doesn't hurt going bare but save that for other activities.

But I felt like I was just diagnosed with herpes when I found some tiny ones under a rock

I never brought in live rock and only used small frags - 2 head euphylia at the largest

Latex gloves work? Or too thin?

I have two types of gloves that I use while working on or around or in the display. Heavy duty atlas 772 nitrile elbow length ghemical resistance gloves. They are 26" I believe, yellow in color.

I also keep a box of disposable nitrile gloves, chemical resistant, power-free, latex-free food safe, 4 mil thick. I also keep a box in the garage and kitchen pantry oddly enough.

These work for me.
