How did this happen so fast...

So I added a uv sterilizer last night and today I was checking on the pump and found this huge starfish already living in the little suction cups.. this has to be the largest starfish I have (i think) and it’s mindblowing to think it scaled the side of the tank and to the top to be nestled into the pump? How is this even possible! My mind is blown and kinda freaked out! Life in the ocean is amazing

Its fine funny tho! Those small white star fish I see can be removed. they are considered a pest to most.

I have tons of them! What’s wrong with them? I am doing a tank cleaning coming up and knowing they are considered a pest will make me feel better about getting rid of them.
