I'm curious to see how those of you with the new style (heck, even old style) IceCap External Pro Algae Scrubber installed it into your existing setup.
The input pump with the flexible tubing seems easy enough, but how do you handle the output and emergency overflow? They need to be plumbed into the sump, but you either need to raise the unit above the sump walls to use drain tubes or cut holes for bulkheads above the water line (to prevent backflow). I'm using a Trigger Emerald 26 sump, which is already stuffed full of RedSea ReefMat and DC skimmer, so room for me is at a premium.
Thanks in advance!
