So I am at work now and found out my coral shipment arrived at my house today. It includes some zoas, palys, mushrooms, and a rock anemone. I purchased some Coral Rx ahead of time also. However, I am unsure of how to properly acclimate these animals to my system the correct way.

My intuition and limited research lead to believe I should place all bags in tank unopened to get water temperature the same. Then begin to drip acclimate them using air hose and some tank water (2 hours???). Use the Coral Rx for 10 minutes with a powerhead in a bucket and/or a turkey baster to blow off any pests. Finally, place them on the sand bed and pray they open up.

Am I on the right track?
do I need a heater in the drip bucket?
How long should I wait to pull them out of my DT if they don't open up?
And do I treat the rock anemone the same?

I take mine from the lfs bag, use that water for the dip, then rinse in clean lfs water, then drip for 30min then into my tank. I usually will put the coral where I want it permanently but I know it will open because of the quality my lfs has. I have never bought anything online those shipping prices are crazy.

I usually us the water from the bag to dip them then once they get rinsed with water from my tank they go straight into the tank.
