How do i bring up par?

By increasing the light output safely and slowly
So just increasing intensity equals more par? My readings of par for my gen 4 radions are like 50-90 on the sand bed and maybe 150 close to the lights.... and my intensity is already at 55%

Par is a measurement of light output.

So increasing the light output increases par. Not sure where you’re confused honestly. Increase intensity until you have the desired PAR.

Well you explained it perfectly thank you :) also what about the channels of light? Mainly cool white and green and red? Does the white need to be brought up slowly also?

Set the lights to 100% and turn on acclimation mode. It will start at 50% of 100% and ramp up slowly over the course of a few weeks.

Check ahead of time 100% to see what kind of PAR to expect at the end of acclimation.

IMO don't play with colors, pick a program like AB+ then add or remove a bit of red or green as you see fit.

What lighting are you using? Most fixtures have recommended settings.

If Radions, I’d suggest using the AB+ program. The just ramp up at intensity :)

Im using the wwc lighting program and ill set it to that and acclimate :)

Just to make sure... i leave all the channels the same but raise intensity over the course of weeks? I ask because the cool whites on that schedule are 50% out the gate and same with green and red at 10%... but since, i have turned it down to 20% cool white, green and red at 10%

How many weeks should i do the aclimation so i dont cook my corals?

Whatever the default time period is in the Ecotech program. I think 4 weeks.

Basically set the light up to the final color and intensity you want and the light will reduce all the channels in proportion.
