Hello,

Got a new tank setup, and need help figuring out how to keep my rocks stable. Ive got a CADE 900 (90cm x 70cm x 50cm) and wanted to do a large arch shape (pictured below). problem is im not sure how to keep a large piece that will be using multiple rocks stable. Im not getting a large arch but more or less multiple CaribSea life rocks to create my shape. I cant really find acrylic rods (im in Australia, we only have Bunnings here) so I cant really use the drill method. Can I use stone fix maybe?? Or any other kind of glue?

I would use limestone and a masonry bit or diamond bits (craftright) to drill it then use PVC pipe to hold it together. CaribSea's "Liferock" is a very dense concrete abnd very difficult to drill. You'll need hydrollic cement (Builders Quick Set maybe just guessing ????) to hold it together and even then I personally wouldn't trust it.

I’ve used the nyos cement before with success. Also jurassic gel with the accelerator works well and cures clear unlike super glue.
