How do I collect pods?

Since my 28g established tank has been empty of fish for the past week and half, the pod population has exploded and I see tons crawling on my glass. they are super tiny.

How can I collect them to put into my sump for my 75g tank? any tricks to harvesting them? I'd like to get as much as I can before breaking down the tank in a few weeks.

If you have live rock just pull out easy and swish in new tank . Repeat process til happy or tired lol .

that easy, huh? And here I am thinking I'd have to chase them down with a turkey baster or something, lol

I use "berry baskets" off Amazon.I fill them with rubble and have them in my sump and once a week I take them out of my sump and stick it in my DT. I can see the bigger ones scampering out after a bit. I would Imagine you could do the opposite. I don't have enough chaeto yet to split into the two tanks.Thanks for the suggestions all! I will look at the berry basket idea

would a filter sponge work just as well? stick a few pieces in there? unsightly but th etank is pretty ugly now since I am breaking it down, lol

Yes that works too. I put pellets or flakes in as encouragement. When you by pods sometimes that's actually how they come. In a sponge.

thank you, I will try that when I get home tonight! I'll be happy to get a bunch of pods over to the other tank
