Hi. I’ve been experiencing these problems for a while and it’s very unsightly. What can I do to get my tank crystal clear?

First we need to know age, nutrient levels, basic param levels, and possibly lighting type. Without any info we're guessing. If tank is new( 6 mos. or less) then it's just part of the "uglies". Maintain low nutrient levels and it should reduce over time. I don't see any coraline so I'm assuming it's pretty new. Hang in there, suck out what you can, brush off and remove what you can and keep an eye on those nutrient levels. Make sure you have sufficient clean up crew. Good luck.

Believe it or not the algae is actually what you want. It means your tank is progressing. Post your parameters and we may be able to help. Otherwise don't use tap water, during water changes use a toothbrush at the end of the siphon and scrub/suck the excess out. I also don't see a clean up crew anywhere. I would add a variety of snails and hermits. Find a snail with some coraline on its shell and scratch it off into a powerhead to seed the tank.

Not much on your build thread. What light are you using? I don't see any coral in the tank. There really isn't a need for the light at all.
