How do I decide which fish to get rid of?!! Help!

I would stay away from a Scopas Tang. They chase all of the other fish. I actually watched mine make a Coral Beauty jump out of my tank. Every night at my lights were ramping do it started chasing it around the tank. It finally jumped while I was in bed, it was laying on my floor all dried out. After the CB jumped it started on my Copper Band Butterfly.

I would seriously worry for your tailspot blenny if put any of those tangs in.....

Well, the tank turned out to be a 139 gallon. Just a wee bit bigger than 120.
What a huge job to move! Took all day.

The guy taking care of it didn't do a very good job. We kept finding and finding and finding things in there. Coral just knocked back behind the rocks, etc.

Realized the pumps are Ecotech MP40's. Nice.

The fish have gone to quarantine and the tank will stay fallow for 2 weeks or so. Don't trust the Tangs not to have Ich.

At least the first step is done!

personally i'd keep the longnose butterfly and get rid of all of the tangs, let the idol be tank boss. tangs just don't do much for me, and they're pretty mean. the black tang is worth a lot of money so i'd make sure to sell that or something, maybe find an lfs to give you credit for the other ones

and i'd get rid of the wrasse because it looks like a sixline. if it isn't maybe keep that.

i'd also get rid of the clowns, percula or ocellaris ftw

that's just what i'd do, though.

Thanks. Well, he's been living with everyone for 2+ years with no trouble so I guess I'll keep him. There are so many inverts it probably wouldn't be horrible if he had a snack now and then.

well it's not gonna go after tangs and other huge fish, but other wrasses.. i personally keep halichoeres wrasses and one of them just merked a cleaner shrimp so i get it with inverts, but inhibiting addition of other wrasses would be a bummer.

here's what evolved has to say on mystery wrasses:

P. ocellatus “Mystery Wrasse”: Often available, somewhat expensive. Likes to consume shrimp when you’re not looking. Can get quite large for the genus. Does not play well with other wrasses.
