I have a Reefer 250, with two Vortech MP40. This is probabaly overkill for my tank but supposedly my glass is too thick to safely run MP10s. Anyway, how do I actually know if I’m running at the proper flow rate? I usually run in nutrient transport mode at about 25%. But I really have no idea where to set them, I’m starting to get a few sps frags and they like “high flow” which is a completely arbitrary term, what is high flow?

SPS like flow... Wait .LOVE flow!!
I run my SPS tank at about 100x volume flow and this isn't a ridiculous number by any means.
BRS did a great video on this topic..

Its a difficult question. A lot dpends on the posistion of the corals and the posistion of the wave makers. I would look at some Utube videos for ideas
