I cannot post in the "looking to buy" section of the forum. How do I earn this permission? I would like to create a post as I am currently looking for lights to put on an Oceanic 42 Hex that I recently inherited. :D

Thanks in advance for any help!

Nooo!! That's so long. :/ One of the main reaons I joined was so I could try to buy some lighting. LOL. Thanks for the help!

There is another way. Although R2R is free to join, upgrading to a supporting member will make that restriction disappear.
What are the actual benefits of being a supporter? Or partner member? What are the differences?

Supporter is $25 a year and gives you better privileges on the site. Look Here

Partner Member is only offered 1 time a year and is $100. Different privileges than Supporter but better than member

Maybe you guys answer this question too... although it’s off topic from the post. When do I get my build thread badge?

Follow the link in my sig

30 days as a member and 25 meaningful posts.
So who keeps count of posts and who decides if they are re meaningful. I been a member for awhile hand try to post often but I'm newer to this and my knowledge base is small compared to most, and hate to offer something up and be wrong.

Just join in a conversation. It can be as simple as greeting new members, asking a question in an existing thread, or compliment the owner of a nice tank you see. The forum is a friendly place. Just jump in. :-)

The website will track number of posts and the Mod Team determines if a posts are considered meaningful if there is a question about their meaning. Feel free to post when you are comfortable with the topic of discussion. No one bites here so jump in.

Also starting your own threads asking questions count. This is a very friendly and knowledgeable group, so if you're wondering about something, ask away.
