Hi guys obviously its hard to fill a 90 gallon tank initially with heated salted water? Or is it ? Can u fill it with rodi water then add salt and heater?

Yes, you can fill with water first and then mix salt in the tank.....as long as you aren't using established live rock. I prefer to just mix in Brute garbage cans and pump it into the tank.

I bleached my dry Rock so everything was fresh and new so to speak. Started filling up the tank with Rodi water until the tank was half full then used an old kitchen blender started mixing salt with the heated tank water using the blender.

Can I piggyback on this thread and ask how you go about filling the sump? Would you fill the tank first, then the sump, and then get everything flowing?

Yes, the main tank gets filled first and then you keep filling until it overflows into the sump until it reaches your desired level. About the only time you fill directly into the sump is with RODI Auto Top Off (ATO).
