Will these methods also work for Rock Flower Anemones?

The only way I’ve been able to get rock flowers to detach was to remove the rock they’re on and gently tap on the side of rock opposite they’re attached and then it falls off.

if you rig a piece of PVC up larger then the nem and place it around the nem, the nem will crawl through it to get to the light.
Great Idea! thanks for all the help everyone! So here is a little Update
I went the Inverted method. First I tried to hold the rock above the tank and it did stretch out to touch the water but after 3 minuets I lost patience and placed the rock in a large plastic bowl with water at the bottom and placed the bowl on the work bench in the garage, well it was a over 90 deg and when I checked he crawled into the rock, guessing to cool himself so I went the chisel route.
BTW no Anemone's were injured during the construction and only a few bristle worms were violently smashed, mutilated, mangled and destroyed

Awesome! Glad to hear it all worked out for you. I think we’ve all done the same with bristle worms....

easiest way to do it is pull the rock out of the water, hold nem upside down so its barely touching the water and slowly rub its foot. It should detach in about 5 mins. This always works for me. If unable to get rock out, point a powerhead directly at it, the nem will move and you can then pull it out while its trying to run from the blast of water.
+1
