My home tank is having an increase in these and I'm starting to get concerned.

DankeYou can super glue the openings and suffocate them. They are Vermetid snails.
ihr willkommen!Danke
Vermetid snails. A dab of super glue over the end of the tube will starve them out![]()
Its messy, but I put a dab on the tip of my finger, and then dab it on the end of the snail. The superglue doesnt solidify right away but does leave a film on the water once you put your hand in the tank. What’s the best way to dab super glue on the tubes under water? I can’t remove the rocks. I’ve used epoxy in the past but super glue might be easier to use.
You can squirt it in the tank, just don’t go to crazy. Poke the glue balls with the tip of the glue tube. What’s the best way to dab super glue on the tubes under water? I can’t remove the rocks. I’ve used epoxy in the past but super glue might be easier to use.
Yep!Lol. I got it though. Do I need buy any specific glue gel or can I just use anything who’s sole ingredient is cyanoacrylate? I’ve used regular crazy glue and loctite for frags in the past with no issues but just want to make sure.
+1 and it's far more satisfying to crush them.I use needle nose pliers and crush their shells.
