Honestly, your best bet would be to try and remove the rock (if there's any possible way) and just trade it in to LFS or toss it. Unfortunately, the ugliest palys are the ones that grow like weeds and also the prime culprits in many cases of palytoxin poisoning. This particular species definitely has more palytoxin than a traditional zoa, so the risk is higher. Folks go to extreme measures like trying to burn them, boil them, scrape them, etc. Unfortunately, many aren't using safety gear (gloves, eye protection, respirator, open air space) when doing this and end up aerosolizing the toxin and making themselves and everyone in their homes deathly sick.
Some people try to kill them with aiptasia x or kalk paste, but with mixed results. Hopefully, someone has a better method than mine and you can avoid going nuts removing the rock. Good luck!
