Because of the fact that some of my plating coral frags (montipora, scroll coral, chalice) are already in weird shapes or circles it’s hard to glue to the rock. How would I glue something small that’s in a circle shape to the rock work and have it plate out and attach to the rock?

You can glue pretty much anywhere (from the middle or even the edge), just try to make sure the whole piece gets good light exposure. For tricky pieces I like to use a small ball of epoxy putty with a little bit of super glue on the top and bottom of the ball. The glue on the bottom helps the putty to stick to the rock and the glue on the top helps it stick to the coral.

Should I take it off the plug?
I trim the plug with bonecutters so you don't see as much of it if I can't remove completely.

Good luck

Thanks! But could I just glue it directly to the rock with the entire plug? Just have the plug floating
