How do i keep skimmer running?

How do i keep skimmer running for aeration and PH but i dont want it to collect becauze my nitrate and phosphate is 0? Anyway i can make that work?

Take the collection cup off, take the drain plug off the collection cup if it has one. Raise skimmer so it sits higher in water (less deep). Open outlet gate valve all the way. Or just dump back into tank whatever it collects

Can i lower the skimmate below the collection cup? Or it would still collect in the body?

Skimmate is the brown stuff that gets collected and normally removed by emptying the collection cup. If you lower the water level so it doesn’t make it into the cup that’s fine. Not much will build up inside body and it will breakdown and re-enter water column anyway
