Ima sick freak and kept my spiders in a cup for a few days just to see how they act! They did not die, both spiders took a heavy hit of bayer coral rx revive and prazipro but had absolutly no effect at all. But they melted away as soon as i poured h202 in the cup.

I am glad never had spiders, flat worms or red bugs in my tank and never have dipped or quarantined. That is a spider such a good photo never seen a brittle star with jointed legs. One of the reasons I remove frags from the plugs when I get them if possible.

Well removed another. It isn't hard in the qt. I'll keep an eye out hopefully isn't infested.

Gotta love how quick people are to say its not harmful and its a cuc member... thankfully there are people who know better and chime in.

Often these ID threads are hitchhiker guessing games. There's no harm in giving one's guess. Unless you provide an absolutely clear picture, you're not going to get an absolutely clear answer. It's the best we can do, in these circumstances. People are invited to share what they think they see. The ownness is always on the OP to see if that ID matches what they saw with their own eyes. Just because I've played the game and lost in the past, doesn't mean I shouldn't step up to the starting line again and again. I get that there is a certain amount of responsibility that goes along with the advice we give, but it can't be helped when we really are not presented with clear data. When you ask for opinions on IDs, you'll get opinions on IDs.... opinions are never guaranteed to be correct or incorrect.... they're just opinions.

It's defiantly the OP's responsibility to take all the opinions with a grain of salt. Just pointing out how mistakes can be made with opinions on forums. Nothing personal.

I bet fenbendazole will also ;)
Yes , I believe so , they both have the same ingredients just different names, I did lots of research online about this.I don`t have any personal experience on this, just most people recommended this for sea spider problem and it worked very well and sometimes you have to repeat this treatment a couple of times. This is also the safest way to treat your entire tank.;)

It is always the tank owners responsibility to get proper ID and to treat or not treat the tank. The only way a hobbyist can put any blame elsewhere is to get a specimen to a specialist in the correct field that has full knowledge of that specimen. But even then knowing if it is safe is not a given.

Can someone help and tell me what these alien looking things are inside my overflow box. I also see them in the sand bed. Should I be concerned?

Did the dips. Few more spiders came off but nothing else I could easily see. I'll keep nursing the lps and see what happens

Haha, you say that now......

I think they're worse than aiptasia, at least something eats those!!
