I've set up my tank (90cm x 45cm x 45cm) which I plan to have community fish, softies and LPS corals in eventually but at the moment I only have 2 clownfish in there.
It came with a jebao wave maker which is on slow speed going on and off and I got an all pond solutions wave maker 2000 which is just a constant one. One is pointing from back left to front right and the other from back right to front left.
Is this how they should be placed and is that too enough movement for future corals? Is it not needed when just he clowns are in there?
If I turn the jebao one up at all it starts to look like the water is moning from side to side a little in the tank so I'm guessing that's too much?
Sorry it's so long I've got a lot to learn I know

You want to see water moving from side to side in the tank. That pulsing is great for lifting detritus and keeping corals fed/moving,.

Sounds like a good start. Hard to have too much flow really. There are some low-flow corals, but many will fiddle with their placement to achieve that. Flow is the tank's life for coral respiration, gas exchange for fish.... etc., etc. Blow some air into the tank if you want to observe your flow patterns and judge if it is random enough.

When I feed them I leave the pumps on as they dont seem to want it if it's not moving around, and the food seems to go in a figure of 8 around the tank.
Bubbles is a good idea, thank you
