How Do I Know When To Feed Hermit Crabs?

I’ve had 3 zebra hermits for about 5 days now, and I’m not sure if they’re getting enough to eat.
There’s minimal algae in the tank, except for diatoms. I gave them a seaweed pellet, but I don’t know if they really responded to it.
They look healthy from what I can see but I just don’t want them dying of a lack of food.

Feed your fish good frozen food and they will be fine

Well I don’t have any fish in there at the moment, I’m just trying to figure out how much and how often to feed my hermits.

Usually they are part of your clean up crew CUC, and they feed on tank wastes and left overs so... I dont know how much to feed them if no other inhabitants in your tank.
Maybe just a little portion of fish food every other day or so.
