How do I lower my phosphate

Go with ChemiPure Blue or Elite which contains GFO as GFO can be very strong ( a teaspoon goes a long way)

I’m Usually the guy that steers clear of chemical solutions to problems especially chemicals to remove algae but I started using this and it stuck . I’ve never heard of any issues with this product that wasn’t cause by not following instructions . Maybe it’s because when I do use it I never try to bring it down all at once . Say my phosphates just for example we’re at .5 then I would start by only putting enough in to drop it to .4 then after 24 hrs check it and repeat til I get my desired reading of .05 - .1 . Me Personally I never let my tank go past .2 and I pretty much know how much to use to bring it down . I add it to my overflow going into my sump . My other tank actually needs to be dosed phosphates now . But I strongly advice you to do what you feel comfortable with . Chemipure blue ,phosguard , gfo will work as well . Be careful using gfo as it doesn’t take much .
