How do I lower Nitrates!!

I meant before that. It seems to me he hasnt done on in months if he feeds once a week and he has 200 nitrates.

I haven’t done a water change in months and only have 10-15 ppm. Wc’s aren’t all that great at nutrient reduction.

It’s probably an issue such as the Ro/Di water.

thought the same thing with only 1 fish. so either waaay overfeeding OR theyre being stored somewhere....like a long overdue filter sock

Or a never siphoned area behind the rock work is releasing nitrates

I get behind the rocks because when I set up the tank I didn't know better to leave space

What kind of of lights do you have on the tank and how long per day? Just curious if that has somthing to do with the algae growth.

Ohh budy same problem I had almost 8 months ago. Lost majority of my corals due to high nitrates. The only thing that WILL lower your nitrates is a good nitrate reactor buy one and never worry about nitrates again.
