I want to increase my sump turnover a little bit but when I do that. I started to hear water rushing/dripping in the 1st filter sock. It's not bad but I didn't have this issue before.

BTW, that circle cover for the filter sock, I thought that supposed to help with the water noise.
So what the heck is that for?

TIA

Upload the same video twice just in case the 1st one can't be played.

Increasing the sump turnover will likely help or solve the issue. You can also lower the socks so they get filled up, if that makes sense, or you can throw in some filter floss or bio media in them. I get so much flow through my socks they are always completely submerged under water, silent

Sorry. You are making me more confuse. That's what I said. I turned up my return pump from 55% to 60%. So not much. But when I do that, I can hear the water.

I just increase it again to 65. It actually make it worse. The water goes down faster and now I can hear the water rushing in my overflow...

This is a frickin nightmare of balancing the return pump power with the gate valve

I would suggest using a different style of silencer. These work well for me.

Ohhh okay. I get what you mean. Yeah I’d add some filter floss or just something that acts as a dampener to the water. Not many other solutions unless you have the option to lower them

Unfortunately I cant lower the filter socks but
I can increase my sump level. But.. if I do that, the water turnover would be lower again...

Man.. this is a nightmare.

I would go with filter floss. A lot of people do that and it’ll actually make it to where you don’t have to switch out your socks as much because they’ll catch some stuff too

If I do that, I would need to buy a filter cup. I don't like those cups.

I am thinking just going with that Klir filter roller now.
