How do I make sure my apex probes do not carry ich?

I don't know what the other people were thinking but here is the real answer.

Everything is potentially contaminated. Very tank, net, everything... Airborne ich is a thing.

So to be safe... rent a big truck and gather all your gear. Put everything in the back of the truck.. tanks, fish,nets, even your phone.. if you have taken a picture of your tank... it could be contaminated. And you can't bleach your phone..right?

Find a steep gully and unload all your gear, a desert setting is best, but anyplace SHOULD work. Now, soak everything in diesel. Not gasoline.. that is dangerous...diesel is what you need. Everyone says "oh no, burn your gear with gasoline" but they are wrong. Diesel.

Set on fire using lighter, match whatever.

Once the fire is almost out, disrobe and throw your clothes on the fire.

Now, drive to wallmart and walk naked through the store picking up new, uninfected clothes. You may get some strange stares, but its wallmart, they employees dont get paid enough to care. If someone stops you just stare blankly and say "the ships are coming, the ships are coming" and walk off

Once you get home...BOOM!!! Totally clean! 100% no chance for ich.

Now go out and buy all the gear you always dreamed about.

Done and done!!

Just rinse them in the sink and hook them up in the sump.

How much ich is on anything you put in your tank? it needs a host to survive...... Unless it’s a Pico, you’ll be fine

I can see only 1 flaw to this plan, diesel isnt really flammable until its atomized...would have to use that dangerous gasoline

Get a bucket of saltwater, buy a "ich magnet" and put it in to the bucket, then soak the ph probe in the bucket for a week then just throw away the ich magnet. ez
