So, I was looking at my tank. On my small Zoanthids frag, there is one small Aiptasia. Should I take it out and put it in Hydroplex or is there something else I should do?

I had one single aiptasia come in on a candy cane frag once. I injected it with a mix if boiling lemon and lime juice and have never seen another one in my tank since.

Did you inject it in or out or the tank?

Definitely remove the piece into a bucket or specimen container and inject out of the tank then rinse in a clean container before putting it back into the main system.

Or, just get the Red Sea stuff because your going to get them again eventually.

In my new tank I started off seeing 2 small aptasia in my fuge and removed them manually. A week or so ago I saw 2 more small ones on the rock in the display. I got a peppermint shrimp and within 2 days both are gone. First time ever peppermint shrimp have eaten aptasia for me. FYI cleaner shrimp dont like peppermint shrimp.

Super glue it into its hole

Just buy like 2-3 peppermint shrimp and it’ll be gone.

I used to have apatsia all over and was trying all the injection methods and it just kept coming back. My LFS gave me 3 peppermints for my 32g tank and boom! Haven’t seen one since. And I’m talking over a year they’ve been gone.
