how do i set the ph range for alarms on profilux 4

I have calibrated my ph probe and is now measuring but how do I set the the alarm range, Its in my freshwater tank so I want it at 6.5 so how do I set it to warn me if it falls below 6 and above 7?
Also what does hysteresis 0.30 mean?

To set the alarm, you click/tap on the pH probe. It will bring up the menu with nominal values and hysteresis, if you want to save measurements (needed for graphs) and what not. At the bottom is the Alarm control. Tick it on and set the max deviation; in your case 0.5.

Hysteresis is used for things like telling a heater to turn on/off or perhaps a CO2 solenoid if pH levels vary too far from normal. What value you place in there is cut in half for the upper and lower limits so a .3 hysteresis on pH means the controller would look to keep your pH at 6.35 to 6.65 if programmed to do so.

You may be able to send SMS alerts if your carrier has email to txt capabilities. US examples would be:

For you it would likely be something like:
[email protected] for example
