Lights on 8 hours a day, and I feed rods food every other day, dime size. I use ro water and I use Red Sea coral pro salt for top offs. Run a HOB protein skimmer as well

No media reactors and it's the algae on the rocks that I'm referring to

Media Reactors can help by lowering the nitrate and slow the algae growth

Should top off with plain water as the salt doesn't evaporate ...not that its causing the algae...just concerning.

Sorry for the confusion, I do too off with ro, I just meant my top offs are using clean water

What kind of media reactor would you reccomend for a sumpless system?

If you get a better pic to ell if its a problem algae or just a normal thing. adding a reator for carbon or gfo with out tesyn No3 and Po4 can strip the nutrients righ out of the water. starving corals.
