How do I test CA reactor effluent?

I need help with the testing if my CA reactor effluent. I would like to know its putting out and performing as it should. Can someone give me the procedure on how to test with a regular test kit salifert.

let the effluent drip fill a test vial and do a normal test like any other time.be sure to let the drip fill it and dont just open the valve to fill it.
kh should roughly be 3x what you want the tank to be.
