I just acclimated my clover polyps yesterday this is my first coral and my parameter’s are good.
Specific gravity 1.024

Temp 79.3

DKH is 7 low

Calcium 420
Since I only have one coral should I dose calcium and alkalinity once a week?

Here are the pictures

they are looking great ,since yesterday, what size tank? as far as dosing?

yes they will spread ,just nudge them against,as far as dosing,29 gal, would stay the course,w changes, testing, hold off on dosing until needed,do not chase numbers..go slow :)

They'll eventually grow on every surface in your tank. Clove polyps are the reason I restarted a tank, and I will never put them in another tank.

7 DKH is perfectly fine(natural seawater is 7DKH), if that is your only coral, you won't need any 2 part dosing for a long time.

I had a rock of pulsing Xenia and some of the polyps came off the rock. I found one yesterday on top of a rock. I like the cloves and Xenia so I'll deal with their spread accordingly. I hope lol
