Ammonia and Nitrite both tested 0 yesterday afternoon. I proceeded with a 23% water change and used Red Sea Coral Pro salt. My tank is 29g/15g sump. How do my levels look? Anything of concern? I dont have a magnesium test kit just yet.

Specific Gravity = 1.025
Ammonia = 0
Nitrite = 0
Nitrate = 20ppm
Calcium = 500
Phosphate = 0.25ppm
Alkalinity = 12 dKH
PH = 7.9 (taken in the morning)

What type corals are you housing? Alk. and ca. may be a little high.

Cal high
Alk on the high side
Nitrates, depending on corals, is high.
Phosphates, really high.

Phosphates and nitrates are not caused by your salt mix. That would be caused by excess nutrients. Water changes , skimming, etc. will help correct this. As far as alkalinity and calcium let it come down on its own. If you are not dosing I don't see a problem with using the Redsea pro salt. Make sure you are you using rodi water and be careful and don't overfeed.

I know the Red Sea pro has a high alk strait out of the bag if that helps any. Maybe try the regular Red Sea salt. That's what I'm using and really like it. Mixes around 8ish

Try some RowaPhos for your phosphates and water changes for nitrates.
