How do you deal with the fishy smell

Smell!?? Like from the skimmate or what? Usually not a good sign if the water itself smells

Use a fan? And do more water changes? My tanks always smell mustier when they're in a low air movement area, and/or there's not been a water change in a while.

Just the normal smell of it I mean it’s getting winter so my door is shut and my windows and my room is small so it all builds up

No it’s more there’s little air movement

Run gac to remove some tank odors.

A well running reef rank should not smell at all except for skimmer skimmate and dirty filter socks.

If my skimmer is off for more than a week, then my tank starts to have an odor. Do you run a skimmer?

Use something in the tank like BRS rox carbon.

Use carbon in you tank filtration. Change regularly.

You might want to cut back a bit on skimming depending on what you have in there and run carbon + water change

Lol that's kinda the point to remove some organic nutritrent from the tank , just run carbon till the smell is gone and redose if needed.

Run carbon.

If that doesn't work, some type of air filter.

If that doesn't work...get a job at a fish hatchery, your hair and clothes will smell like fish forever.
