How do you decide on liverock placement for a mixed reef?

I'm upgrading from a 20 long to a 40 breeder, and would like some rockscape inspiration! With my first tank it was pretty random, so finding good spots for different corals got stressful when considering their lighting & flow needs.

I have mostly softies, a few LPS, and one SPS so far. I want to add more LPS in the future - I just love the feeding behavior so much!
