I’m in the market for a doser. I’m currently manually dosing 3 part system but plan to change to a daily 2 part plus magnesium. I’m interested to hear how you are currently dosing your calcium, alkalinity, and magnesium.

I really like the BRS 1.1 dosing pumps, and use three on my tank....one each for alk and calc, and one for DIY NOPOX. I dose MAG when needed, but with 50 gallon water changes per month, I can't remember the last time I had to dose Mag. And I use Randy Holmes Farley DIY two part for alk and calc.

The thing with these pumps is that you do have to use some device to run them....a timing device. Could be any one of the tank controllers or so type of timers. I'm old, and still use a ReefKeeper to control my pumps

8-part
Nopox, MG, CA, ALK, Iodide, Strontium, Trace and Phosphate.
2, cheap DP-4’s $80 bucks each, now running 4 years without maintenance.

I'm dosing 2 part with a GHL Doser 2.1 controlled by the Profilux. I was manually dosing for nearly 2 years and switched to a doser last year. Switching for me was one of the best upgrades to my system that I've done. Was so worth it to me. :)

Triton, 4 brs 1.1ml/minute pumps, timer controlled via apex. 2 versas for awc, 1 gallon per day.

Pico tanks, manual dosing of what is needed. Mostly alkalinity, when Ca drops, adding it either as a part of 2-part additive or as a dry additive, dissolved in top-off water.

With large water changes, Mg is within required range.

Kamoer X1 Pro2 pump dosing Tropic Marin All-for-Reef powder mix, 12ml daily at 1am. Everything in one; easy and cheap.

Currently dosing 4 elements, cal-alk-mag and iodine on a ReefDose. I’m testing every other day and running on a night schedule for the doser to make up for the elements used

recently switched from 2.part to TM All-for-Reef..
Seems to be pretty cheap and easy to use..

still i need to find the correct dose.

I use my right hand to pour some alk or calcium into a small container, then with my left hand, I throw it into the tank. Then I go out to breakfast and maybe have some eggs. :D
