How do you feed your zoas?

I always target feed reef roids or coral frenzy I really never Broadcast feed

I normal target feed reef roids. I'm wondering if anyone has another method that works for them to try. I have some polyps that haven't shown much growth if any in a few months

I just started using new life spectrum nutricell. Just started adding it to the water will try spot feeding this weekend. Anyone have luck with it?

When I didn't have many zoa I would target feed my zoa and paly mysis. After doing this my rainbow paly were growing 1 polyp per day. The others 1 about every other day.

I was given a jar of this stuff. So far, I haven't noticed much. Not sure I'd actually buy it.

I agree that its crazy, and its very hard to believe. I thought at first that it was just taking off, but everyday for 3 weeks I would come home from work, feed the polyps mysis and have a new polyp. I started with 2 polyps and had 25 in 3 weeks. I don't feed like this anymore because I have way too much in my tank now. I have been target feeding acro with coral frenzy and reef roids. Two of the frags are next to a zoa colony and I have seen them explode with growth. A month ago I fragged 40 polyps and it has grown back, needing fragged again. These were already fast growers to begin with. I'm not sure how many polyps have grown back in the month, but they're growing out of control.

I haven't seen that kind of growth but I am seeing consistent 1 or two every 3 to 4 weeks and that's pretty good I think. They love the LRS reef frenzy

The crack you see on the rock to the right of the colony in the first picture is where the frag plug is in the second picture. I have t5 lighting on this tank. I have noticed in a tank with LED that zoa grow at about 10% the rate that I'm getting.

how do you target feed the zoas? turkey baster? tweezers?

3ml plastic pipette :)

That's how I fed the mysis. I use a turkey baster for the frenzy and roids. when I feed I turn off all pumps but 1 seio superflow 620. Then I let it seep out of the baster and let it travel with the flow to the target. The zoa are just down the current, and when this stuff hits them they close instantly.

If I could get my Rasta to grow like that I would be in heaven. I've been staring at the same polyp for awhile now. I'm beginning to wonder if my water is too clean
