Looking for a good way to target feed my new zoas....currently I target feed my corals with krill, but the zoas don't seem to like them (I guess because they are too big). Anywho, any good tips would be greatly appreciated....

thanks,
Darren

I feed twice a week. One feeding via a pinch of cyclopese in the tank and allow flow/current to transport or deliver and once a week, I try spot feeding with a homemade mixture (Frozen myosis shrimp/Zent Zooplex soak or "loaded" with Vitamin & Amino Acid blend). Personally, I don't think the spot feeding works well as ZOAs simply don't close fast enough. So I have to very carifully try and get the food to stick on their fringes. With Wrasses in the tank, anything that isn't eaten within minutes will be picked off and consumed by them. Palys on the other hand, rapidly accept anything that comes near them. I know you can get some excellerated growth via feedings, but it's also easy to trash your water parameters unless you have an efficient skimmer and CUC.
