How do you fight cyano and dino

Hi all, I started the fight with dino dealing with the Ostreopsis strain. An UV sterilizer took care of it but then I started to find Amphidinium under microscope. During the whole time I have been also dosing silicates, nitrate, phosphate to try to get diatoms to grow. I was able to find more diatoms under microscope (more than the Amphidinium) so I think it is a good way to approach. The issue is I am seeing more and more cyano like brown-redish mat on my sand, with little strings or bubbles, and I have to keep dosing phosphate or it will quickly bottom out.
So my question is how can I tell if the mat like algae is cyano or diatom? If it is cyano, should I try to treat it? At this point I don't want to do anything that may induce a full onset of Amphidinium outbreak.

Chemeclean or red slime remover safe for fish reef and invertebrates its cyanobacteria your describing. Increase your flow too. So detritus doesn't trap n your skimmer can remove it
