I'm curious how everyone goes about fortifying their food and the procedures you use to do it. Product, soaking time, etc.

I use selcon and vitachem occasionally but I often wonder how effective it is when I see a big cloud disperse in to the water column when I put the food in.

I don't. I feed dried sheet algae, LRS fish frenzy, and PE Mysis. I figure if I use high quality food I don't need to fortify it.

I actually feed both PE and fish frenzy too but I have a quoyi parrotfish that will only go after pellets, and occasionally tears in to an algae sheet.

I would assume those products are only effective for dry foods that can soak them up or live foods that you can bioencapsulate (e.g., brine shrimp, rotifers). I can't imagine frozen foods that are saturated with water taking up any of it.
