so i want to upgrade from my 55gal to maybe a 125 gal tank. the issue is i do not own a truck and my dad who does has his truck packed with tools and works 6-7 days a week so i don't want to ask him as he is likely to say no or question why im spending my money on this hobby.
i can buy the tanks locally but i HIGHLY doubt they provide shipping even though it's like a 20minute drive. my car is way too small to even fit a 50gal their is no dang way it will fit anything bigger then maybe a 40 or 30 even.
anyone know of a way to get a big tank otherwise. i mean they can help me load it into the car and all that but getting it home is the hard part. i don't feel comfortable renting a truck or driving it either so that is out of reach for me.
Do you have any experience with this like idk if LFS will offer to haul it for you with a price or what. i've tried contacting moving companies who can do it but they need like a 1 month heads up and the cost is just ridiculous for 1-2 hours. will cost me about half the price of the tank itself.
tried checking online stores none will ship directly to my house they will ship close but i still would have to pick it up manually. buying used is not an option for me either. most used tanks here are in bad condition and overpriced. not trying to spend a whole lot for a tank that is in bad condition and will have to clean it myself. been their done that.
