I know they have a foot and grab rocks.. but how do you get them on the rock or plug you want... i bought a neon green nepthea awhile back and its been floating in my tank for ages and i finally found it.. but its s nub now.. and i dunno what to do eith it.

I tried using puddy and glue and it works for awhile thrn it floats off.. I lost the dsng coral again.

So i went out and bought a nee one today.. much larger size but after the dipping it detached from its ORA plug or little rock mound they make.

Uhg face palm..

I super glued mine to a rock. Gel super glue. I pressed it dry with a paper towel before I added glue and I did a good amount of glue but it worked fine all the frags are doing great.

I've tried using superglue gel many times and never had any luck, but what I have found works most of the time is to get 2 small pieces of rock that seem to fit together with a small hole between them.
Trap the leather coral between them and use a rubber band to hold the rocks together.
I place it in a area of lower flow for a month or so.

I’ve seen people stuck a toothpick through the bottom of xenia and rubber band it to rock until it took hold. Not sure if it works with leathers. I’ve tried glueing mushrooms and that works half the time. I usually have to put them in a box with coral rubble until they take foot then glue the rubble rock to a rock.

I think you can rubberband it to a rock and it will eventually grab hold. If you google rubber band leather coral you can find videos that explain it more
Agree with this, either rubber band or fishing line works as well :) I've never had luck with superglue, they get too upset and die out

I use rubber bands all the time for leathers. Works well.

I use the rubber bands that my livestock comes with.
