How do you hang your lights? I am in the process of making a diy LED fixture for my nuvo fusion 30 L and would like some ideas on how everyone hangs their lights. Pics Please

I made a bracket for my Radion over my 50 with aluminum flat bar.

I made this light rack with 1" square aluminum tube ( eztube) for my Radions on my 233.

A few years ago I made this light rack using 3/4" conduit for my ATI T5 fixture.

Used shelving brackets from lowes for my hydra. And basecoat clearcoated them with automotive paint.

I have vaulted ceiling's so I use cantilevers mounted to the wall.

I use 1/32" stainless steel cable from McMaster Carr (can hold ~150 lb) that is nearly invisible (http://www.mcmaster.com/#3461t61/=11vc7ss), but you need some compression sleeves to make loops (http://www.mcmaster.com/#3898t29/=11vcatu) and a compression tool helps, but you can probably get by with pliers, etc.

Toggle bolts into the ceiling. On my new tank the fixture will be 6ft and I don't feel comfortable hanging it from the ceiling. I am mounting an 80/20 bar to the ceiling and then my light will mount to that.

That sounds interesting. Do you have pictures?

I made a light stand from pvc piping and tied my led strip lights to it above the tank.

Just finished my floating canopy, held up by aluminum extrusion. Sorry for the lousy phone pic! Canopy has 2x 36" T5's and 2 Kessil 360's

I used conduit as well. I believe it is 3/4 inch, I wanted it really sturdy, and we bent it with a pipe bender so that there were no joints to come loose and have the light fall in the tank. It is attached to the back corner of the stand with brackets. I used a drawer pull on the end and painted it all black. My favorite part is that the whole thing swivels out of the way so I have room to work without the light hanging in my way
