How do you keep snails in your fuge?

I have a couple large turbo snails that I want out of my tank. I thought I could add them to the fuge to take care of the hair algae that is outgrowing my chaeto at the moment, but how do you keep them from climbing over the baffles. I don't want them getting in my skimmer section

Hhhm maybe I will give that a try myself. I guess it would help keep the fuge clean. Any down side to doing this?

I have cross stitch mesh affixed to eggcrate that goes up a few inches on one of my dividers, and my snails stay in there just fine and do not affect a thing. They keep my glass nice and clean and if GHA has a chance to grow, they nip it off real quick. Never seen a downside to it.

As you can see below, one little guy (blue circle) was out and the cross stitch mesh (yellow arrow) only goes up a few inches. The mesh was just to keep small pieces of macro from going into my skimmer, since my skimmer is after my fuge. There are about 15 snails in my sump (about 50 gallon fuge), with most of them being zebra turbos that got a little too big, some margarita snails, and few random other. None have made it past the fuge in 4 years.
