I bought stainless bone cutters on eBay for pretty cheap and they do great no rust or Wal-Mart has stainless toe nail clippers that are like bone cutters for even cheaper but just rinse with fresh water and towel dry after use

I leave it in vinegar. The vinegar also helps to remove any rust that has built up on the tools as well.

Rust wont hurt anything. don't be afraid of it, you worry so much about getting a little rust in your tank, then you fill a reactor with GFO. Rinse the tool in water from the tap, then dry it, if you want to prevent rust, give it a little spray with some pam or similar cooking oil, then wipe it down and remove as much oil as you can.

A bottle of Coca Cola Classic and an aluminum scrub pad will remove rust easily and have it looking like new.
