I got a ZenReef mushroom box for my jawbreaker and neptune bounce, but after just a few days, even after cleaning it up, it develops strings of cyano, I think due to lack of flow.

How do you guys keep yours from growing algae due to the low flow?

Thanks!

I just clean mine with a clean toothbrush. But I use it for rfa babies and see them better from the top anyways....

I think that’s the way I’ll have to go. The reactor media I have in mine grows a lot of cyano, which is kind of annoying, but the shrooms themselves seem fine, so I’m not too stressed about that.
